Pecan Tassies


 

Tart:

 

1-3oz. pkg. cream cheese

 

1 stick oleo or margarine

 

1 cup flour

 

blend cheese and margarine together; add flour and mix well; roll into 24 1” balls; place in mini-muffin tins; press up sides

 

Filling:

 

In bowl beat 1 egg; add:

 

¾ cup brown sugar

 

1 tbsp. Margarine

 

1/8 tsp. salt

 

½ tsp. vanilla

 

½ cup pecan pieces

 

mix well; put 1 tsp. filling in tarts; bake @ 350º for 15 minutes, then @ 250º for 10 minutes
