Luna Eclipse's Asian Sky

Yoshiki or Yoshiki Hayashi is the drummer who very famous among musicians in japanese rock scene. His abilities is not only drum playing but also good at piano playing too. In addition, he 's great composor and producer too. Because he written and produced the most songs for X-Japan. His background is from classical music to Kiss, that's why he can combinded classical with rock . His solo works are rank from classical to techno. The album "Eternal Melody" is produced by George Martin ( I guess you know him -Luna) and was performed by The London Phillhamonic Orchrestra. (I guess again that you know how great this band is-Luna) In addition, he has worked with Rogers Taylor ( Queen's drummer) in the song " Foreign Sand" and he performed this song with Rogers Taylor in "The Great Music Experience", the international music festival which held in japan. Another yoshiki work in international scene is " Black Diamond" classical version in "Kiss My Ass : The Tribute to KISS"!! He had rearranged this song in classical and performed (of course!! piano) with American Phillhamonic Orchrestra

My Opinion

Yoshiki is the very talent asian musician that I've experience. At first time I've seen him in the magazine, I thought that he's transexual!!!'Cause at that time, I never know Visual Rock before. And after work hard on a few articles about X-Japan, I've a chance to met him in press conference, as a journalist. He is very kind and nice person. (except he was not on time for the conference and made me kept on waiting for him untill 10pm. The staff don't let me have dinner, too!!) When the interviewer asked him that how can he persuaded George Martin to work with him. His answer is he have met Sir. George in the party and he walked through the crowd and asked Sir George to produce his solo project and finally Sir. George said "yes" to him. What a high confident guy he is!! IoI After interview, I have met him again Sony Music's PR lead me there and introduced me to him. He said "nice to meet you. I've seen the articles. Thank you very much" Ahh!!! He gave me his signature too!!
