The furniture is moved in and new "living room" is now becoming part of our home. The living room looks to the east, where most of the wildlife can be seen. As you can see Dean has one of his "deer" on the wall. Laura has a new "chair-and-a-half" that her Mom and Dad sure enjoyed this weekend watching the deer, raccoons and turkeys come and go.

(Left) This view is from the living room toward the new entry. You can see at the left of the image, the stair railing that Dean and a friend fabricated. (Right) Dean's office is so.... pleasant that it is very hard to leave. His windows afford great views of the yard and woods to the south and west. (The webmaster is sorry he missed the great taxidermy here, wonderful fish and deer, he thought he had them!).

With the addition complete, the house takes on a very different appearance from our original "cabin in the woods". The western porch with it's swing offers a great place to start or end any day, watching the wildlife, woods and enjoying the summer breeze.
