My real name is Darlene. I currently reside in Washington state with my husband, Rich. We have two grown daughters and one new granddaughter.
I've been doing some form of needlework since I was about 6 years old. Mom taught me the basics (Embroidery 101) and I took it from there! Counted cross stitch is my way to "unwind" and at the same time get satisfaction in producing a beautiful finished product.
My most favorite designer is Shepherd's Bush. I also stitch many designs by The Victoria Sampler, Lizzie Kate and Just Nan as well as many others too numerous to mention here.

Besides stitching, other activities I enjoy are a good work out at the gym (at least 3 days a week), roller blading (weather permitting), sewing and reading.
