Jasmine & I meet after 2 and 1/2 months
UPDATE : Jasmine is home everyone!!
and sincere thanks to a courageous group of people who came to our aid!
A group dedicated to really loving and preserving these animals as they need more attention in this world of ours! They all know that these fine animals are as capable of love and loyalty as the family dog, and in fact I can tell you that when she was missing, it was a family member who was gone! If some people think you can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy, think again. While every animal preserves his very nature without becoming 'domestic', know that a loving and loyal relationship does develop.
An excerpt from her homecoming page illustrates a true story that shows the difference in payoff from attitudes:
'I can remember when Jasmine was just about 9 weeks old, we had to a vet. And she gave me the phone number of a lady she said has experience with them for advice. The woman on the phone had literally told me, "you might as well give her to me now, because when she is six months old, you will be looking to get rid of her". She claimed no amount of love will change things because she raised baby bobs for a local zoo, and they were completely vicious and wild no matter what she tried. I politely declined her offer. I knew even then the proof would be in the pudding down the road. More than 3 years later, I know she did something wrong.'
She had told me that after they reach six months of age, though she says she bottle fed from 2 weeks old, no amount of anything could change a bobcats 'vicious' nature. She said she raised six of them, and couldn't handle a single one after 6 months old.

Most of you who see these pictures, I imagine are on a exotic feline group of some kind. I want to tell you all with sincere thanks that I have never been as overwhelmed as I am now. Your kindness has humbled me, and I needed that. You don't know me or Jasmine, but yet, you do. This is going to work somehow because 'it takes one to know one'. It's Thursday night and my heart is in my throat. If I could believe in a God, this might be just the kind of thing that he might've made humanity for. Thank you.
