Phaedra du Ravencort is a runaway noblewoman. Doomed to marry a madman, she fled and chose to seek a life such as those she had read about in books. However, life turned out even more adventurous for her than she had imagined. In her new life, Phaedra often finds herself varying between stubborn defiance and trembling fear. She is known to faint over the most trivial of matters and then, when certain dangers present themselves, she proves bold, even strong... though even with that good right cross, she is not going to fight if she can help it.
Phaedra had many numerous adventures in Haldor, but eventually had to leave that place. She felt out of place in the Belladonna which she owned and ran, a place given to her. Phaedra has the awful habit of being in need of saving and she is fortunate in that her husband, Slate, is often there to make sure she stays out of trouble. One thing remains, however, Phaedra misses the dear friends she once had in Haldor. That place had been her home and often she wishes that circumstances did not make it a place she had to leave. In her heart, she wishes only the best for those dear ones who were her friends. Also, she misses her school and her time teaching young girls the art of being a true lady. |
