Quick, strong and agile... never underestimate her. Jad'Xia was found and raised by a group of nomadic warriors named the Ae'Mer'Ron'Sae. In fact, their ruler, Xia'Anya'San'Rae had proved to be barren and in this matriarchal society she decided that Jad'Xia was a gift to her. Jad'Xia proved interesting in that she seemed to have the very powers of the Ae'Mer'Ron'Sae, only to a much greater degree. While naturally wonderful healers, Jad'Xia never scarred and healed faster than any other. She excelled at everything and this only made her adoptive mother adore her all the more.
Tragedy struck when Jad'Xia was twenty and her people were wiped out by a mysterious force, a being that would follow her for a few thousand years once it discovered her existence. Finding herself alive, when by all accounts she should be dead, a madness befell her. She went slaughtering everyone in her path with no regard to age or gender, all were but fodder for her sword. Until one day, for some reason still unknown to her, the face of a babe shattered the hold of the madness and she fled her world. For many centuries she sought penance... but later that stopped.
Over time she lost count of her age, around the time when she thought herself to be four thousand years, she met and nearly married Vlad Dragul, but this relationship turned out doomed from the start.
After that time, she befriended, so to speak, Vortic and became a Soldier of the Dark. She found this an interesting experience as she had never so chosen a particular group before. During this time, she entered into a symbiotic relationship with Vortic as he progressed to another level of existence. Later, she became the Master Soldier, holding the position once held by Vortic. She did this until she discovered Vortic was still alive and that he had actually turned against the true power behind the Soldiers. Ronin chose his side rather than that power.
Lurker turned out to be a very significant man in her life, for it was with him she discovered the horrible truth of her existence. She had been design by the same maker as Lurker, but her purpose had been to live, as long as it was necessary to learn all the things that could lead to the destruction of her people. The fact that they were destroyed by another and she had escaped had been pure chance. Her fate would have been that her mind would be emptied of every bit of information in her until she was nothing but a shell that would wither and die. Yet, this information did not change the pain that lingered regarding the loss of her mother and her people. For they would always be her people. Nor did it end the pain of her madness, which from time to time continued to haunt her.
Time passed and the two had a son, Hunter Dru'gotti who is an odd mix of both mother and father. |
