Match Comment: A simple message of Hindley appeared to want the ball more than Standish did. From the kick of Hindley ran through the Standish team and scored within the first minute. They scored again soon after in the 7th minute. Although Standish had some good scoring chances it wasn't until the 22nd minute before the referee awarded Standish a penalty which David Johnson sweetly tucked away into the bottom right hand corner 1 - 2 Hindley. However, son after this Hindley were at it again scoring in the 26th minute 1- 3 Hindley half time.

The second half started much as the first with Standish at least applying a little more control but still could not score with chances hit either straight at the keeper or he just got a hand to them. Hindley opened the scoring again in the 45th minute 1 - 4 Hindley. Lots more pressing from Standish but still the ball would not find the net. Hindley finished off the scoring with another goal in the 64th minute 1 - 5 Final score to Hindley.
