Hindsford 3 v Blackbrook 3
Blackbrook had a more defensive formation this week against the current champions.
The rearguard of Tommy Hughes, Danny Walsh, Carl McConville, Adam Ford  Phil Eden was solid for the first hour, Phil Eden being the pick of the bunch.
On 26m a poor clearance from goalkeeper Phil Harrison was pounced on by Hindsford, but Blackbrook equalised on 28m with an own goal from a good Adam Gilchrist corner.
Blackbrook took the lead on 30m when a rocket-like shot from Liam Philpott was brilliantly saved by the Hindsford 'keeper only for Gareth Thomas to hammer home the rebound. On 32m a long powerful run by Gareth Thomas ended when Hindsford again scored an own goal.
Early in the second half it seemed only a matter of time before Blackbrook extended their lead but on 65m Hindsford pulled one back unexpectedly.
This spurred them on until the end of the match they dominated play, equalising on 75m following a corner. In this period Blackbrook made too many bad clearances passes by the defence  consequently lost two valuable points.

Liam Philpott was Blackbrook's most effective performer overall.
