Match Comment: I think we have potentially seen the new champions for this season. Blackbrook look a very good side and although Standish were missing a few key players this Blackbrook team will take some beating. Blackbrook went 2 - 0 up mid way through the half before Standish replied with a well taken goal by Chris Ochwat cutting across the defender and volleying over the defender and goal keeper. 2 - 1 Blackbrook haalf time.

The second half started with Blackbrook taking further control going 4 - 1 up early within this half. Standish responded at last with a well taken goal from Scot Wilde making it 4 - 2 Blackbrook. Standish played the last 20 minutes with 10 men due to injuries and a player having to leave the game at half time. Blackbrook made the most of this adding 2 more goals making the final score 6 - 2 to Blackbrook. Although the score would not reflect this I think some thanks needs going to the Standish keeper Ben Price who made some great saves to keep the score down. Final score line Blackbrook 6 - Standish 2.

Hard fought game from start to finish with some tired Standish legs at the end.
