Cedar Falls

What starts as a doplet from the sky
Falling to the ground below
Making its way to another near by
On their way to an even greater flow

Winding, bending through stone and dirt
Forging a path for more to trace
Dancing, flowing like music in a concert
Touching the earth with its wet embrace

Gathering more and more as it makes its way
Increasing momentum and strength
A downward journey made without delay
As a plummet is made of grand length

Beautiful sparkling white flow
More spectacular than anything I can recall
Watching mesmerized by its show
The waltz of the waterfall.
