Never will I forget that night~

She walks in the room with a kick in her heels
All happy to see
The "Hi's", and Huggs and Kisses too,
she tucks away her blues
They chat for hours with all who come in
She sits, putting up a wall, only a view to look through
The tears she cries, no one will know
TC they say and come again, for all she has is Internet Friends
She hesitates a moment before she leaves,
looking at the room and wondering
are they empty like me
She tosses the thought and smiles on screen
More hugs and kisses to be seen

(I once chatted with someone years ago who said
All she had in the world were Internet Friends
I felt sad for her, we talked for about a year
and as alot of us do, she disappeared
I choose to think that she got out and made
"face to face" friends, which brought some sort of joy to her life...)
