The Lady Colonels started the season off with an undeniable win over a scrappy, quick but young Magna Vista squad by a score of 52-39. Fleming never trailed in the game despite the newspaper account. Senior forward Brittni Taylor led the Colonels with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 7 good defensive plays. Sophomore guard Tashiana Pack followed with 12 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal and 4 good defensive plays. Sophomore guard TiAsia McGeorge added 9 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, 8 defensive stops and a career high 12 assists. Sophomore center Salesse Stoval also had 9 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, 4 good defensive plays and an assist. Junior forward Sidra Johnson chipped in 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 defensive stops. Junior forward Jamela Wilson scored two points, grabbed 5 rebounds and stole two passes. Freshman forward Aureon Bannister grabbed 4 rebounds, stole the ball once, had two hustle plays and scored a free-throw in her varsity debut. Sophomore guard Casey Trench stole the ball off the dribble during one of Magna Vista's many attempts to get back into the game.

The Lady Colonels lost to Northside by a score of 41-33. Tashiana Pack led Fleming with 11 points, 2 rebounds, steals, and assists, a blocked shot and 12 good defensive plays. Sidra Johnson added 6 points, 5 reounds, 2 blocked shots and 6 defensive stops. Salesse Stoval added another 6 points, 5 rebounds, 5 good defensive plays and an assist. TiAsia McGeorge led the team with 5 assists, and added 5 points, 8 good defensive playes, 2 steals, a rebound and a blocked shot. Brttni Taylor chipped in 3 points, 3 steals, 2 rebounds, an assist and 9 defensive stops. Jamela Wilson's 2 points completed the Lady Colonels' scoring.

Fleming defeated Cave Spring 48-25. Cave Spring had no match for the Lady Colonels' post players and it showed. Sophomore center Salesse Stoval led the Colonels with 14 points, 13 rebounds and her first double-double of the season. Junior forward Sidra Johnson had 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 steals. Brittni Taylor had 8 points, 6 defensive stops, a rebound, a steal and a blocked shot. TiAsia McGeorge led the team with 8 assists, 7 points, 11 defensive stops, 2 rebounds, 3 steals and a blocked shot. Aureon Bannister scored 4 points, 4 rebounds, 8 defensive stops, 2 steals and 2 assists. Tashiana Pack had 6 assists, 5 good defensive plays, 2 points and a rebound. Jamela Wilson chipped in 3 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist. Casey Tench had an assist, a steal and a defensive stop.

Senior captain Brandi Smith was back on the court 5 hours after getting the doctor's ok, but it her presence wasn't enough to defeat Pulaski County as the Lady Colonels lost 59-52. TiAsia McGeorge led the team from the point with 14 points, 7 assists, 7 good defensive plays, 2 steals and a rebound. Brittni Taylor continued her scoring streak with 14 points and added 9 defensive stops, 3 steals, 3 rebounds and a blocked shot before fouling out the game. Tashiana Pack led the defense with 12 good defensive plays and 6 steals; plus, she scored 9 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and had 6 steals and 3 assists. Salesse Stoval contributed 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and an assist. Brandi Smith chipped in 6 points, 2 steals and 10 good defensive plays. Aureon Bannister only scored a free throw, but she also had 2 rebounds, an assist and 5 defensive stops. Jamela Wilson had 3 rebounds and a defensive stop. Sidra Johnson had 3 blocks, 2 steals and 3 good defensive plays.

The Lady Colonels defeated Salem by a score of 49-37. Brandi Smith led Fleming by shootint 100% from the field and the free-throw line to score 15 points. Smith also had 5 steals, 2 rebounds, an assist and a block. TiAsia McGeorge added 13 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Sidra Johnson had 12 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks. Salesse Stoval scored 8 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and stole 3 passes. Aureon Bannister contributed 3 rebounds, an assist and a steal. Jamela Wilson snatched 5 rebounds and blocked a shot. Tashiana Pack chipped in 3 steals, 3 defensive stops, a free-throw, a rebound and an assist.
