God often uses dreams and visions to speak to us. We often lose these precious insights and instructions by not paying attention. Keep a journal or tape recorder beside your bed. Ask God to give you revelation of your dreams. They can often have a dual or three-fold meaning.

Dreams are symbolic in nature(most of the time). Symbols derive their meaning in several different ways. One is inherent character, ie. a fox is cunning and sly. Another is the universal meaning, ie. an SOS means "Save our Ship" or "I need Help!". Then there is what the symbol means to the dreamer. A dog can mean different things to different people, it can be a lovable familiar pet or something to be feared.

To obtain the meaning of a dream, mediatate on it and ask God for direction. Sometimes looking up meanings of specific items can be helpful, but don't be locked in. Look back on your dreams often. Sometimes months down the road something happens that you dreamed about or that will shed light.You can ask other people whom you know to be able to interpret dreams to help you, but remember only the dreamer knows everything that is going on in his life and the message is to them, so let the Holy Spirit be your guide. Others are often used as conformation.

These are dreams God gave to me. I will put comments and interprations in italics.

This dream was given to me upon being set in, by laying on of hands and transfer of anointing, on the intercessory prayer team. (Along with two others)

It was a dream inside a dream. Message within a message 1st dream - we had an upcoming meeting and you(Prayer leader) told me to pray for the meeting. So I went into this building and set up 4 vials. I prayed (other things happened but I couldn�t remember them) Then water came out of the vials and it rained and flooded. I was doing the back stoke with something/someone on me. I was scared to lay back (thought I would drown) and God said �trust me�. At that point the dream tried to turn into a nightmare but I wouldn�t let it. The Band �Salvador� was there and I was somehow interacting/talking with them.
The 4 vials were the 4 people on the prayer team. The leader had be given insight that each one of us had a specific, integral part. The water is representative of the spirit. Overflowing spirit and revival to be exact.
Back stroke = small team ministry , back means to trust as in facing outward with our backs against each other (God said trust)
The dream trying to turn into a nightmare was symbolic of fear and that we need to resist it.
Salvador is a praise and worship band. God told our church that Praise & Worship was a vital part of moving into the next revival of God.

I woke up from the first dream and went outside to tell (Prayer leader) about the dream. There was a disturbance outside. Pastor was talking to Damon�s brother and my son came up. Damon�s brother told him to go get a sleeping bag and a flashlight out of his truck. I was upset and didn�t want him talking to my son.
The disturbance was to take our attention off of God.
1-20-01 we had a severe ice storm with 2 wks power outage, hence the flashlight and sleeping bag. I had know idea what this meant until afterwards, it is certainly learn as you go when it comes to dreams!
The disturbance was to stop the flood. I looked at you(Prayer leader) and said �it�s too late it�s already finished I prayed�. He(devil) can't stop it.

Outside there was also a political man wrestling with someone on the ground. This as due to the 2 mth long presidential race - again I didn't know it until I looked back months later. The purpose of this dream was to encourage me that no matter what distractions came, we already had the victory!

Dream not sure if it�s from God, but I�ll put it anyway. . .

This was my first inital interpretation, wrong tho.Now as I put it down, it seems to be about spiritual babies and children, that maybe are in the wrong place or that maybe we are trying to or need to protect from something.

House trailer: temporary- place, situation or relationship Tree: person or covering- leader; shelter; false worship; evil influence.

This was cleary about the ice storm which was a week away! Trees were falling everywhere and there was nowhere to get cover. It was to be taken literal and not symbolically.
