The Aaronic Priesthood is the basic organization for the young men of the Church ages 12 through 18. The Young Men organization is an auxiliary or help to the priesthood.
"Our divine charge as leaders of young men is to ensure each deacon is prepared and worthy to be ordained a teacher, that each teacher is prepared and worthy to be ordained a priest, and that each priest is prepared and worthy to be ordained an elder, attend the temple, and serve a full-time mission�with not one lost. And if that is our charge, we must be prepared, committed, and trained. May we take seriously the Lord�s instruction,
"Now let every man learn his duty" (D&C 107:99).
