* Changing Minds at IOA *

Yesterday was interesting. Work called me in because they decided to open up The Lost Continent for HHN and they needed someone for Games Lead. I of course came in, but I found it to be the WORST night cause it was so unbarably slow. Games only did a nice $660. You may be thinking that is a lot, but concider this: I had 7 people, they made $7.00/hour and they worked for 6 hours (except 2 minors who worked 3.5 hours and one that worked 5.5 hours) so do the math. Four times $7.00 times 6 is $168 plus two times $7 times 4 is $224 then add in mine, $10.50(over time) times 7 added with everything comes to a total of $297.50 just on labor alone. Then add in approximate cost of goods (3%) is 19.80. So from the whole night: $660(income) minus $297.50(labor) minus $19.80(COG) gives us a total profit of $342.70. I honestly don't think that is worth opening for, but what do you expect on a last minute decision like that. Well, I go in again tonight and hopefully it will be MUCH busier (I mean it is Friday).
