* Getting a Grip *

Well, today was probably a 7 on a scale of 1-10. I got to work really early cause both Deb. and Joan have to be at work at 8AM too, so I got to go in first. When I got there, I saw my good friend Susan who works in the front of the park. We had breakfast together and chatted, it was a nice way to start the day. I then went to work and got started on all the stuff on the "to-do list" for me. I felt bad for my opener because she had a car accident on the way in. For anyone that ever plans of comming to Orlando, FL...STAY OFF I-4!!! I-4 is a crazy highway and there are tons of accidents there so avoid it if possible. After a little while of calming her down, we got Habob set up. We must of done a good job because we got numerous comments on how well it flowed and looked good. I made sure that it was so full of stock that I didn't have to worry about it for most of the day. I then got all the other games stocked up and ready to go. Hopefully Tony and all the other leads will appreciate what I do to keep games in some harmony. I think Bill and I make a good team out there. He keeps the employees energized and pumped while I focus on breaks and stock levels. Together we easily pull in over $5,000 in games. So far I am the only person that has gotten along with Bill, it took a while granted, but after we were forced to work together, we realized what a good team we make. I'm sure Kevin and Brent(managers) will see that and maybe make me a status lead(meaning I am always a lead) when either Tony or Holt leaves. As far as Mike, I'm still trying to get over him. I've stoped every urge to call him and talk to him. Believe me, I want to so bad and just talk to him and get this mess fixed. I still care for him, but I want him to understand this one thing. I don't care if we don't see eachother everyday, every week or if it has to be, for a month. All I aksed was that he'd call, text me or do SOMETHING to let me know he cared. Well, I'm not really looking for anyone, but I'm not gunna give up. If someone comes along and I feel the connection, then I'll go for it, until then well I guess it's back to dating my job.
