What is the best part of being in the music business? The best part of doing music is when I get a new song done. It feels great getting it out, and into the open. Doing music for a hobby is sure great. I have not had too much in the way of producers or record labels not letting me have creative control. That is one thing nice about being indie right now. As of right now things have been going real well for my upcoming musical projects. No conflicts with the other members and everything is fun right now.

The worst? One of the hardest parts is not getting songs done faster. The hardest thing I have been through in doing music so far is group conflicts.

What advice would you give to aspiring Singer/Songwriters?The best advice I can give to any aspiring singers and songwriters is "have fun with it" music is so competitive that its easy to lose focus why we all started in the first place. There is always going to be a few things involved that take a little fun out of it, but just press forward and never give up.

Who has inspired you to become a Singer/Songwriter? Looking back I never really had any one inspire me to do music. It's always something I wanted to do once I discovered I had a special ear for it. Its one of those things I have always know to be right. Sometimes people I meet, or people looking in think I am wasting my time and that I am going no where with music. There has also been alot of people that believe I will succeed. I look at my life right now: I am 26 years old and I feel I have very little to show right now. In the very near future the stuff I have dreaming up will be a reality. For the first time I will be able to take a step back. I will be able to look at the 3 major projects I am involved with, and see that they are finally done and on their way to where ever they are suppose to go. It's going to take some time since I have such a small team behind me, but it will happen. Looking at my life I realize that if I am going to have any success it will be the Lord helping me to do it.

What is (are) your favourite scripture(s)? I have struggled the last few years and have not put the Lord first. When ever I forget what is most important I try to remember the scripture in D&C 82:10: I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise. Life gets discouraging at times when every thing seems to be going down. Sometimes I feel like life is passing me by. I am making a promise right now to myself that I will not let that happen. I need to make a much better effort in going to church every week and getting involved. When I am at church I really feel the spirit.

What is (are) your favourite hymn(s)? One of my favorite things is singing hymns during Sacrament meeting. It makes me feel so much better. I love the way music opens and closes a meeting. My favorite hymn is "I know that my Redeemer lives". It helps me to realize the Savior is there and knows what we all go through. I hope in the near future I can wake up and go to sleep happy the majority of the time, as I make a more earnest effort to put the Lord first in my life. Good luck to "you" in your life, who ever is reading this right now. Thanks for listening."
