What is the best part of being in the music business? The best thing is that music is so powerful. It is an amazing medium for reaching other people (and reaching myself). I love to write gospel music the most because of the powerful way it can lift a soul.

The worst? The worst thing about being in the music business is... there's not much bad actually. It is sometimes a closed circuit sometimes, though, so it's hard to get your foot in the door.

What advice would you give to aspiring Singer/Songwriters?My advice for someone starting in music is to make it happen. You can't expect to have a lucky break with no work. With my music I have personally produced my own music, which is a lot more work and personal expense, but if you want it bad enough, you'll find a way.

Who has inspired you to become a Singer/Songwriter? My mother was my greatest influence growing up. She was very musical, and prodded me on. Current artists and songwriters like David Foster, Kenneth Cope and others give me great examples to follow.

What is (are) your favourite scripture(s)? I don't have one favorite scripture. I love them all, and have a lot of favorites. I love the old favorite, 1st Nephi 3:7...I will go and do the things which the commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.and some of the ones where Jesus teaches the Nephites in 3rd Nephi.

What is (are) your favourite hymn(s)? I like all types of hymns, but my favorites tend to be the sacred ones (typically Sacrament hymns). Some of my favorites are "Jesus Once of Humble Birth", " I Know That My Redeemer Lives", and "I Believe in Christ".

What are some of your favourite things to do? I am a family man with a wife and two daughters. I love to spend time with them. I also still love to do trick riding on my bike and get creative on my computer.
