The cemetary of Les Innocents in Paris is home to the vampires that survived under the Old Ways of Santino. Known as the Children of Darkness, the coven works together to maintain their secretive rituals and the cemetary grounds.
Here we see the mausoleum itself, surrounded by overgrown foliage and a variety of cemetary statuary.The balcony was added much later by the mad vampire Nicholas. Sure Armand thought he and the rest of the Children of Darkness long dead, but Santino is a secretive creature. He offered to keep the small cluster of blood drinkers safe from harm.
Allesandra loves to stand upon the blacony and play with the bloody bird-baths (though they tend to attract bats more than birds). She's still rumored to be mad, but the other vampires find her endearing and tend to leave her to her musings.
Elaine takes great pride in tending to the cemetary grounds. Even the weeds are carefully trained and trimmed.
