Typography - Shakira Portrait, Adobe Photoshop

Shakira is a famous Colombian singer, songwriter, dancer and record producer who has a distinctive new style, a blend of pop and rock. The Nueva font would give me the elegance and curves of Shakira’s move; as well as her strong personalities and characteristics.
The design of the poster consists of a combination of curves and shapes fill with text of different sizes and shades of black and grey to form the facial characteristics of Shakira. The text used is a combination of word that characterize Shakira and titles of her songs.
The portrait has a calm and relaxing tone wich was obtained by using large and long shapes for the wavy hair and the jaw area. The use of long area instead of multiple small ones gives it a more serene mood.
