RODDIE O. WITT
Roddie O. Witt, 87, of Alvaton died at 9:52 a.m. January 16, 1994 in Bowling Green. The Monroe County native was a bus driver retired from Fuqua Bus Lines and Illini Bus Lines in Indianapolis & a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Jim Witt & Jane Durham Witt. Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at J.C. Kirby and Son Funeral Chapel with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Louise Witt; a son, James Witt of Alvaton; a stepdaughter, Linda Stringfield of Rich Pond; a half brother, Joe Witt of Hermitage, Tenn; two granddaughters; a grandson; a step grandson; a step granddaughter; two stepgreat-grandsons; a stepgreat-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
