EARL WITT -- (Franklin Favorite - August 27, 1987) Earl Witt, 66, of Franklin, died August 14, 1987, at the Veterans Hospital at Nashville, Tennessee after a brief illness.Services were held August 17 at Crafton Funeral Home with Rev. James Martin Cook officiating. Burial was in the Mount Vernon Cemetery.A native of Allen County, he was the son of the late Jim and Lucy Sloan Witt. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jean Boatwright Witt; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Graves and Mrs. Earline Webb, both of Franklin; one brother, Joe Witt or Hermitage, Tenn.; one half-brother, Roddie Witt of Alvaton; and one grandson.

EARL WITT -- (Bowling Green Paper -- 8/14/87) Franklin, Ky - Earl Witt, 66, of Franklin, died at 8 p.m. Friday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Nashville after a brief illness. The Allen County native was a retired truck driver. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jim Witt. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Crafton Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation is in progress. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jean Boatright Witt; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Graves and Mrs. Earline Webb, both of Franklin; a brother, Joe Witt of Hermitage, Tenn.; a half-brother, Roddie Witt of Alvaton, and a grandson.
