CHESTER WILEY - 'Windsor Man Passed Away Wednesday' (Sullivan Progress)
Chester Wiley, 33, of Windsor died at 6:20 pm Wednesday in Decatur Memorial Hospital from injuries received in an auto accident near Findlay December 18.Funeral Services were held Sunday afternoon in the McMullin Funeral Home in Sullivan, conducted by Rev. Dale Dively. Burial was in the Bethany Cemetery. Mr. Wiley was born March 28, 1942, a son of Ebb and Luella Wiley. He married Geneva Meador in 1963. Surviving him are his wife; sons, Carl and Scott both at home; a daughter Genny at home; his mother at Kirksville, and brothers Donald of Vandalia and William and Jerry, both of Bethany.

CHESTER WILEY -- "Man Injured In Crash Dies" (Decatur Herald & Review)
Windsor -- A 33 - year - old Windsor man, injured December 18 in an auto accident near Findlay, died Christmas Eve in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Chester Wiley, an employee of the Caterpillar Co. plant in Decatur, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.According to the Shelby County Sheriff's office the accident occurred at 12:10 a.m. December 18, 1-1/2 miles west of Findlay on the Findlay - Assumption Road.Sheriff Robert Collins said the Wiley truck was hit in the rear by a car driven by Kenneth D. Chapman, Jr., 31, of Findlay. Chapman was treated at the Decatur hospital and released. Wiley was thrown out of his truck upon impact, Collins said.Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday in McMullin Funeral Home, Sullivan, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Bethany Cemetery.Mr. Wiley was born in Illinois, son of Ebb and Luella Wiley. He was an employee of Catapillar Tractor Company, Decatur. He married Geneva Meador in 1963.Surviving are his wife; sons, Carl and Scott, both at home; daughter, Genny, at home; mother of Kirksville; brothers, Donald of Vandalia; William and Jerry, both of Bethany.

Bethany -- Chester Scott Wiley, 32, of Decatur, formerly of Bethany, died at 7 a.m. Monday (July 8, 1996) in Macon County.The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Bethany, with the Rev. Dan Wright officiating. Burial will be in Marrowbone Township Cemetery, Bethany. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born April 13, 1964, in Decatur, the son of Chester Samuel and Geneva Sue Meador Wiley. He married Kimberly Lynn Butt in 1985; she survives.Also surviving are a son, Christopher Scott Wiley at home; daughters, Karmen Lynn Wiley and Katrina Marie Wiley, both at home; mother, Sue Savage of Mattoon, brothers, Carl Samuel Wiley of Pheonix, Arizona, and Jerry Lynn Brown Jr. of Decatur; and sister, Genny Sue Wiley of Effingham.
He was preceded in death by his father.Mr. Wiley was a concrete finisher for Roush Concrete Company of Decatur.
