1. IGEM UNIQUE PROGRAM FOR UNIQUE TIME.

God has designed the IGEM Fellowship as a unique program providing Knowledge and Wisdom to be used in equipping mature leaders for God around the world. God knew that there would be lack of shepherds for the flock and therefore pre-ordained IGEM to help meet the needs today. Mathew 9:38 The international Gospel Equipping Ministries is a God assigned program to equip Christian leaders in the world, primarily in individual growth through Biblical studies. It provides practical training for ministries countries where God’s word is scarce and well grounded . It is also designed to be of service to God and man. Our major visions is raising up competent committed Christian leaders with compassionate hearts of unifying the scattered body of Christ. This has made IGEM to get contacts locally and Internationally. Even from some places as Uganda, Zambia, Zaire and Rwanda, from individual and mission groups with whom we had no contact, requesting information about IGEM.

2. THE NEED IS GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE.

The spirit of God is falling on the world today like never before. There are more Christians alive now than have left denominational background because of IGEM. The problem of training leaders, overseers are as diver sing and pressing as the needs themselves.

3. THE LAUNCHING

God has purposely gathered many powerful men and women of the world at the IGEM outreach centre with enough strength to go all over the world to proclaim Jesus as King and Saviour.

As this IGEM program is becoming a full time work, IGEM members shall one time be forced to withdraw firm their main ministerial duties to concentrate on the IGEM worldwide. At this time the IGEM is bent on establishing IGEM world headquarters at large God is yet to provide. The established policy is to make this IGEM program available to Christian leaders outside Kenya free of charge.

B) REVIVAL

Revival is touching the whole world and Africa is on fire for the Lord, with more than half the population believing in Christ. This is to say that the spirit of God is moving mightily all over the world.

Unfortunately the body of Christ is not being prepared for proliferation of new Christians. Fringe groups and cults have been mobilized, they’re free to steal the sheep.
For instance, Jehovah witnesses have been sending missionaries by plane and land in areas where
Christians have no Biblical standards, they capture them and become their followers. It takes years to rise National Christian Leaders to the top. Many of the Christian leaders in the world are over looked to equip and handle the rapidly growing needs of the body of Christ and turn out quality leaders throughout the world are crying out to source to train more leaders. It is through such stress that God has anointed the founders through IGEM to step in the shoes of Joshua and the Apostles
.

4. IGEM IS PREPARED TO MEET TODAY’S NEEDS.

IGEM was introduced through Rev. Michael Wafula in Kenya in early 1996 which was selected by expressed need, and later on spread to Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia and Zaire. Our current vision is to reach to many parts of Africa and the world. We have started feeling the growth of IGEM in the above countries and despite the fact of financial problems that we are faced with, we are set to accomplish much as God shall provide us with finance.

UNIQUENESS

The holy spirit is building IGEM in an unusual way; the holy spirit is developing for us some programs through sound experienced church leaders from a verity of Christian backgrounds. Precisely this is not the work of one denomination or individual but over men and women, filled with the holy spirit. They have carefully edited IGEM programs fought against conflicts and divisions to strengthen and unite the body of Christ.

OFFICIALS

The Lord has given IGEM officials the burden of raising up well grounded mature leadership in the body of Christ. Over a period of years the body of Christ is divided up in to pieces and hunting and floundering because of inadequate training and equipping for the leaders. It is because of this burden that IGEM was founded with intentions of equipping God’s Ministries around.

COMMENTS

IGEM continues to be available to inquiries from all over the world and welcomes reports and comments from all that have had contacts with us.

OUR MAJOR VISION.

Our primary goal is to brig the body of Christ towards Unity of faith and the knowledge of the son of God: (Eph 4:13-16). Towards that led IGEM authority instructors and the reviewing council of ministries have simple and uniting answers in several conversion areas. We have started receiving testimonies from around the world telling how the Lord has used IGEM as a unifying of lament between churches and indigenous ministries.

Academic and theological goals have not been sacrificed as IGEM has eliminated big words and religious terms to facilitate understanding and translation even as Jesus spoke. We have to accept that while ministries to church leaders, we have in purpose to make them like Jesus while important to them some theological knowledge. It is the prayer of the IGEM Executive council to the International Bible Training Centre to provide chances and grants to African Missionaries students to advance spiritually through theological knowledge so that they can come and equip others in the ministry.

GRACE
Grace as the basis of Christianity is strongly and clearly presented. The IGEM leaders are taught to walking in the spirit’ is by grace, not laws or regulations (Rom. 6:14) God’s command and are used as instrument of grace rather than condemnation.

MESSAGE TO THE BODY OF CHRIST

HARMONY

(“We sing with the trumpeters as one”)

The glorious Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be founded on people who walk in harmony. This harmony occurs when we come to know Him and see His light, love and grace. We are all ambassadors of Christ. he has given everyone a calling, a mission, a purpose. We are anointed to walk in His glory as kings and priests in Him and to come into unity with our brothers and sisters. This is so important that the gift of ministries as by Ephesians four, namely apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, will continue “until we all come into the unity of the faith”.

The church today is much like the brothers Esau and Jacob, who warred constantly. They hated each other and were rivals in every sense of the word. The church has so many different sects, denominations and independent groups. God is changing that. He is uniting us around the fact that He is our Father and Jesus is our brother. It is time to think beyond our personal needs to the needs of our brothers and sisters forming the entire Body of Christ.

When Jacob had his experience with God at Peniel, his life was totally changed for the better, forever. While wrestling with God, his name and nature was changed. His name was no longer Jacob, “the deceiver”, “the supplanter”, “the conniver”. He was now Israel, “Prince with God”. God has given his people a new name and a new nature of love. The name Christian means “Christ like”. Since God’s love is shed broad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, it is our spiritual nature to be united with the whole family of God. This truth is evidence in Jacob’s life, for after he experienced God face to face, it was as if he saw the face of God again.

When the members of the CHURCH OF Jesus Christ looked into the light of God’s word face to face, their vision changed, they saw their brothers and sisters as if they were the face of God.

We can’t look into the brightness of the sun without our sight being blinded with light. We can’t look into the light of God’s glory without our hearts being changed. What we all can see is God’s glory, everything looks different to us, even our brothers and sisters.

David understood the importance of both a relationship with God and relationships with others. He surrounded himself with faithful men of like precious faith. These men loved David to the point that they were willing to lay down their lives for him. Once, when the Philistines invaded their camp, David and his men were forced to take refuge in the cave of Adullam. David was thirsty and longed for a drink of water from the well of Bethlehem. Several of his mighty men overheard him express his desire. What they did reveals their dedication to this man of God. They broke through into the camp of the Philistines just to get David a drink of water. When David saw that this men had risked their lives just to satisfy his heart’s desire, he was so touched that he poured it out as an offering of thanks to the Lord.

If men in the Old testament could love each other so much that they were willing to die for each other, we should, through the “love that has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost” be able to walk in Jesus’ commandment to love one another. Until this unconditional love flows among us, the world will never see the kingdom of God manifest itself on this earth.

Halel, Praise

(“To make one sound…. Praising the Lord”)

The church of God have one voice; not one voice over here and one voice over there, but one voice. And that one voice will be praising the Lord. Saying, “For He is good; for His mercy undureth forever”. Nothing is too difficult for our God. We must learn to radically praise Him, as an overcoming God, a God of all power whose faithfulness is to all generations. We must stop wallowing in our defeats and failures and concentrate on the fact that Jesus is an overcoming God that He lives in us, making us the over comers we were destined to be.

The Book of Revelation continually calls to the overcomer. Here is a sampling:

To him that over cometh will I give to eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the paradise of God. (revelation 2:7)

He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death, (Revelation 2:11)

To him that overcometh, him will I give to eat of the hidden manna and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. (Revelation 2:17)

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations. Revelation 2:26

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my father, and before his angels. (Revelation 3:9)

Him that overcometh will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go o more out; and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of Heaven from my God; I will write upon him my new name. (Revelation 3:12)

It is important to overcome. The problem is that many of us haven’t learned the keys to overcoming; the blood of the lamb, the word of our testimony and reckoning ourselves dead unto sin (Rev. 12:11; Rom. 6:11) When sin crops up in our lives and we feel ungodly, we need to take a stand and say, “I am dead to sin. it has no power over me. God has equipped me to live the overcoming life”. Then we can start praising God for it along with the rest of the overcomers.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, thy God reigneth! Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the lord shall bring again Zion. (Isaiah 52:7-8)

The church is beginning to lift the voice together. We are beginning to see “eye to eye”. It is time to lay aside our petty differences and reach out to the oppressed. It is time to go beyond praying for our own personal needs – my car, my clothes, my home, it is time to use our faith to pray for hurt people, lost souls the depressed, beggars, the blind, the lame. It is time to lay aside “every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us” and to “run with patience the race that is set before us” (Heb. 12:11)

With these three principles of the anointing in our lives-holiness harmony and praise-the church will not be defeated. There is power in this corporate anointing. When this truth is understood, we will be more effective in protecting the body against the attack of the enemy. The apostle Paul said, “To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgive anything, to whom I forgive it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of christ; lest Satan should get an advantage on us: for we are not ignorant of his devices” (11 Cor. 2:10-11)

What are the satan’s devices? According to Paul, they are unforgiveness, accusation, strife, misunderstanding, division and anything that keeps us from unity. Many fear this unity because they may lose their control (over something) or have defend what they believe. What we must understand is that our fight for victory and success is not against other.

Ephesisans 6:12 “We wrestle not against flesh and blood”. You are not wrestling against your unsaved mother, husband or boss. You are wrestling against a spirit that holds them captive. You must rise up and say, “in the name of Jesus I rebuke the force of hell and I loose the power of God upon these people that the angl;es of God would go and minister peace, help, strength, comfort, revelation and insight to them”. Then love them and lead them into the kingtdom. Unconditional love never fails!

We are not wrestling against other members of the body, no matter who they may be. Our fight can never be against brothers and sisters in Christ. “For we wrestle … against principalities, against powers, against the rules of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”. (Eph. 6:12)./ God wants the body of Christ to come together. He wants the members of the body of Christ to be in love with one another.

We have been anointed with God’s power and revelation in order to help people who don’t understand the Lord or may never have been taught about His goodness. God hasn’t calles us to make war against denominations or to straighten out everyone we disagree with. Our battle is not against people, anyway. It is against the devil. We are commanded to love people with all of our hearts.

“As we have therefore opportunity. Let us do good unto all men, especially unto who are of the household of faith” (Gal.6:10). With one heart and one soul we will radiate God’s life to a dark world.

I thank God for all those who have been called into His army, no matter what denomination they are in. our fight is against rulers of darkness, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Therefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins gird about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all taking the shield of faith, where with ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints .. (Ephesians 6:13-18)

“Above all, taking the shield of faith….” Isn’t that interesting? It is so important to have faith. It is also important to make “supplication for all saints”. We are to pray corporately for saints in other nations who are hurting, those who are being persecuted and who are even dying for their faith. As some of the church sits in luxurious surrounding thinking that everything is just fine others are suffering. God is changing that way of thinking, allowing us to feel the pain of others, the great things God has envisioned in this earth will be accomplished only if we unite together in the spirit with the heart of our father.

The time is coming when we will flow so beautifully together that all the world will see it and will know we are his body.
