Proverbs 16:1-9 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD. All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits. Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. 2 Peter 1:10-11 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

When I was in college/undergraduate school, I received a lot of credit cards, department store cards and the like. I didn’t even have to apply for them they were coming to my PO Box. Some of them I did apply for and I learned how to apply for them and to receive them. They would come credit lines like $500, $1000 and maybe one or two with like $5000.

I do NOT condone the sins (II Chronicles 7:13-14, Romans 3:21-26) that I committed when I was in college/undergraduate school.

2 Chronicles 7:13-14 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Job 13:26 For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.

Psalms 25:7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

Psalms 51:5-17 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Romans 3:21-26 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus

I’ve repented/confessed and asked for forgiveness (I John 1:9) for these sins (II Chronicles 7:13-14, Romans 3:21-26). I learned that if I put at least $18,000 to $23,000 as my total yearly/annual income, the credit card companies would gladly send me credit line as I have mentioned earlier. I did NOT have that kind of income coming in. God The Heavenly Father (Genesis 1:1-2, I Kings 19:12, Matthew 10:20, John 1, John 10:30, John 14:16-17, John 15:26-27, John 16:13, I Corinthians 13, Acts 17:24-28, I John 4:6-8) blessed me to have just enough income for my living expenses. My income was $1000 or less mostly when I was in undergraduate school/college.

So then I did just as a lot of people do and I went out spending and charging and doing all of these things. I would go out and eat large meals and just let the charges build up. I had credit cards and one charge card. I did not understand that the charge card, I had to pay back immediately what I’d charged or get penalties as late fees and as such. So through those different cards, I would get $25 late fees and $25 for bounced checks and these things. I even tried to buy groceries with the credit card checks, which the local grocery stores did not take. I learned that the hard way.

Romans 12:1-3 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Revelation 17:1-6 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

So then I would take friends (at the time) out and we’d go out and eat until we couldn’t eat anymore and these things. I wasn’t seeing that I had to pay back all of this debt that I was charging. I would make minimal payments but then I’d go out and charge that much more and getting myself deeper into debt.

This went on for a few years and there were some fat years where I did make more than $1000 monthly. So all of this debt was piling up on me and I would think that I could just charge and charge. I tried to come home one time on one of the credit cards but it was declined every time I tried to use this. It was these embarrassments publicly that begin to wake me up and show me that I was in something that I thought that I couldn’t get out of.

Genesis 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Jeremiah 32:16-27 Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD, saying, Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name, Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings: Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day; And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror; And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey; And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them: Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it. Matthew 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Philippians 4:6-19 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

I had six credit cards and one charge card. I never once had the desire (Psalms 37) to defraud or evade this debt. I just didn’t know how I was going to get out of this. I don’t know if it was credit/charge debt or just the stress of being in college/undergraduate school but I had three ulcers from all of this. God The Heavenly Father (Genesis 1:1-2, I Kings 19:12, Matthew 10:20, John 1, John 10:30, John 14:16-17, John 15:26-27, John 16:13, I Corinthians 13, Acts 17:24-28, I John 4:6-8) delivered (Psalms 34, I Corinthians 10:13-14) and healed me from those three ulcers too.

It is written:

Psalms 34:15-22 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

Psalms 37:21-27 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

Psalms 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Isaiah 53:3-6 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 55:6-11 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

1 Corinthians 10:12-14 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

1 Peter 2:21-25 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

I do not recall just when but at the time I was listening to Christian TV and I was hearing preaching (Isaiah 61:1-3, Luke 4:1-19, II Timothy 4:1-2) about getting out of debt and how God The Heavenly Father (Genesis 1:1-2, I Kings 19:12, Matthew 10:20, John 1, John 10:30, John 14:16-17, John 15:26-27, John 16:13, I Corinthians 13, Acts 17:24-28, I John 4:6-8) did or does NOT want His (Psalms 23, Proverbs 18:10, John 8:32, 36, John 10:30, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Acts 17:24-28, Romans 8:9, Galatians 2:20-21, Phillipians 2:9-11) + (Daniel 7:9-22, Acts 11:26, Ephesians 1:15-23, I Peter 4:16, Revelation 5:9-10, Revelation 7:9-10, Revelation 21:10-13) children in debt

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Deuteronomy 28:15-68 speaks of the CURSES that come because of disobedience (Deuteronomy 28:15-58, I Samuel 15:22-23, Acts 5:29,34-39).

Ephesians 2:1-3 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Ephesians 5:1-17 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. Colossians 3:5-7 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 happens only because of Godly and Christ like OBEDIENCE (Deuteronomy 28:1-14, I Samuel 15:22-23, Proverbs 10:22, Acts 5:29, 34-39).

So I began praying and asking God The Heavenly Father to deliver (Psalms 34, I Corinthians 10:12-14) me from debt. He (Acts 17:24-28) still had and was blessing (Deuteronomy 28:1-14, I Samuel 15:22-23, Proverbs 10:22, Acts 5:29, 34-39) me to pay ALL of my living expenses and on time too. I only went without a telephone because I allowed someone else to run up my telephone bill but in His (Acts 17:24-28) mercy, He (Acts 17:24-28) me to get another shortly thereafter.

It is written:

1 Chronicles 16:34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalms 103:8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

I would go through the bill collectors and all of those things. So one time I was drawn and given a payment plan by The Almighty God (Genesis 17:1). That payment plan is below.

Like if I owed let’s say $378.04, then what I would pay, if I had the money would be $78.04. Most of the time if it was over $50, I just paid what ever I could but the payment plan was to pay the last four digits of what ever was due that month. When I had the money and the bill was that much then I would go ahead and pay $78.04. I would do that like with only two or three cards at a time depending on how much I had to spare at the end of the month once ALL my living expenses were paid. I didn’t deviate from paying my living expenses even though I owed the creditors.

In another example if the about was $243.39, then I would pay the $43.39 of the amount. If the amount was $50 or below and was like $10.67 or something like that then I would be able to pay more than just one. At the most I would pay three cards at the time for this. Even this same system into the fat years when I had more. I would pray and ask The Almighty God (Genesis 17:1) for His wisdom in spending and how to pay this consistently. There were times when I couldn’t pay any of the cards but I would pick back up the next month.

I don’t know how many years it took me to pay them all off but I was able to pay off ALL seven of the cards. The six credit cards and the one charge card. I had seen where on one credit card that I have over $400.00 of late fees and other charges. So then I was led to go ahead and pay these off. Once I had these paid off, I closed the account and asked those companies to delete me from their systems or data records. I did NOT want to get into that debt again.

In dealing with one company, another company had bought out that company and even though the account was closed, they charged me $43.xx for something but they didn’t say what this was for. So I called the supervisor or someone in management and explained to them that when the card was in the previous company, that I had the account closed. I wasn’t accountable to pay for something that I did not charge because they NEVER came up with what the charge was for. I’m sharing that to share with you that when you’re in Christ, then these are devils that you’re fighting again in the principle’s of the matters.

Luke 10:19-20 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Acts 19:13-16 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

Ephesians 6:10-20 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Colossians 2:13-15 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
