Ok, It's a little unusual to make an entry in my own guest book, but I wanted to post a very big thank you to Judi for the award she gave me. It is the first award I've been given, and I consider it a special honor in light of the loss she has also suffered. Please visit her memorial site for her sdn, Shane, also.

I am so sorry for the loss of your wife Karen. It touched my heart to read the words you had written about her. A love like the two of you shared is so hard to find sometimes. Karen's dash was a very big one, she lives on in the hearts and memories of all of you who loved her. Thank you for sharing her with the rest of us.

Lowell, your site is such a very moving tribute to your lovely and wonderful wife Karen, it makes me cry each time I visit. The sweet pictures, the words of love and devotion... Your poem for her, and your mother's poem, are so beautiful. I only hope to someday have the strength to make such a tribute for my dear husband John, to honor him and our life together --

I stumbled on your wonderful page dedicated to your wife Karen, and I just had to write. My name is Leah and I am a young wife and mother living in Alaska. I was just looking for some encouragement so I typed in a search for Proverbs 31. When your webpage came up, I read on. I was touched by your loving words and pictures portraying your wife. I just wanted to tell you that it is encouraging to hear of a Godly woman, caring wife and mother. Your Karen sounds like someone I look forward to meeting someday in Heaven. Thank you for your page, and God bless you and your children.

I have finally had the chance to view the memorial page you told me about. It is absolutely wonderful, and I love the picture you included of Karen with the girls. They were so excited to see it. It meant alot to them. Karen was a precious, Godly woman. S e did so much for me and the girls without hesitation or complaint. She is the example of the type of mother and wife I strive to be. Her legacy lives on in those whose lives she touched. Thank you for the memorial, it was very touching. Love, Kelly

What a beautiful tribute to Karen. Lowell, I am sure she is aware of this and by the guestbook you have brought her beauty to many who would have otherwise never have known her. The Love the two of you shared, and you are now sharing with others has bec me a gift of Love that will never die. Someone will read and view this and understand maybe for the first time will experience true love and through that knowledge will be able to give the gift and so it goes. You and I both know this is true. This is he gift that we were given that is meant to be shared. This is not only a tribute to Karen but a gift to others as well. Your friend, Pat

Dear Lowell and family...I was just surfing your neighbor hood to see the work of some other poets. I write some poetry. I surfed onto your page and was caught immediately by the intense love you had for your wife. My prayers are with you and your fami y in your loss. It is very apparent that you loved her deeply and that she was a very beautiful woman. You have a fine family and I can tell a tremendous faith. It is wonderful to see a tribute made by a family to a woman that meant so much. My life h s been blessed seeing the love you had for your wife. I too have been married 29 yrs. and I have to wonder if my husband would remember me in such a manner. Always hold dear to your heart that love you shared.

Hello! I don't know who you are. And unfortunately I didn't know your wife. However, I do know the typr of pain you are going through. In 1994 I lost my Grama who was a second mother to me. She too had cancer. Not breast cancer, hers started as lung cancer and then got in her bone marrow. From there it just ate at her. I know how hard it is to watch someone dear to you die, and suffer from the cruelities of cancer. I really admire you, and the strength you have. You have done a wonderful job with the memorial. I am currently going through the losing someone again. Last week I found out my father only has 1-2 years left due to a brain tumor. He and I were never close, I am grieving more over what he never allowed us to have. But visiting your s te has somehow given me courage to face it again. I am only 20, married with one child. I only hope I can have the lifetime of love and happiness you had with your wife. Keep smiling and remeber your wife is always with you, in your heart and plentiful memories. -Tami

I do know what it must have been like before her passing however. My mother was diagnosed with cancer a litt e over a year ago now. She was one of the lucky ones. Through aggressive chemo, radiation, and hormone therapy she was "cured." There were many moments of sadness, anger, and confusion. Keep the faith, and know thar there are others out there who will keep you and Karen in their thoughts and prayers. You are never alone.
