(Haven Free Press) After a sharp exchange of notes between the Prime Minister's Office and the Haven Official in Yggport, Princess Lucy announced her resignation from the Haven Civil Service with no comment to the media.

Reports are that she is being the private guest of Prince Art on a luxury yacht in Imperial Amerika and that Art is planning to create a post for her in his own government.

A spokeswolf for Queen Sarah said,"Why would Lucy want to work for a Channicut halfbreed like Art when she would get a better job in Trinity without the harassment from Art's needs."

Both the Prime Minister's and the King's Offices refuse to confirm nor deny that the pretty Lucy who was portrayed in Haven commercials as a wundermodel, was bought out by Imperial Amerika for political reasons. Ian Holland said,"It is Art's policy to steal anything nice that Haven has produced for his ego."

          Haven did not produce me.

The Haven Prime Minister denied emphatically that Princess Lucy is having an affair with Art,"I do not believe that Princess Lucy is currently having relations with Art though I have no comment on Art's desires."

          Quite right, Ian. Thank you.

A Foreign Minister Spokesman agreed that Lucy's job in Yggport was pretty mundane and that Sean is a challenge. "Between the hassles in Yggport and her potential to be a superstar, Haven is too small a town for that girl."

The Prime Minister denied that Princess Lucy quit because of her support for Prince Sean in the upcoming election,"I see her with Art, not with Sean knocking on doors and delivering pamphlets. Superstar models and playgirl dates of the Mecklenbergs don't have time to play politics, Haven style."

Superstar model? Playgirl date? When did that come up? It's not like I asked for the bloody commercial to be filmed! I make an effort to look nice for some court thing, and suddenly my picture is plastered all over the telly. God, it's like they never saw a woman dress up before! And once was all it took, too..
