| I recently read Driving Mr. Albert by Michael Paterniti. It is, as the cover explains, a trip across america with Einstein's brain. This is a true story. The author is a young reporter looking for something new, when he hears an urban legend about a "Professor Harvey" who supposedly stole Einstein's brain during the autopsy of Einstein's body. He sets out to find this man, and when he does, he finds the old man not only has the brain, but has decided to return it to Einstein's family. He and the young reporter launch an incredible journey that will take them from coast to coast across the continental United States. I laughed, I cried, I got angry. This book is packed with action and emotion, and you are never quite sure what the next stop will bring. If any of you are interested in the book, I bought and will gladly loan it to you. ~~Lisa | |||||||||||||

| Stones from the River by Ursula Hegi - I read this book several months ago. It is story of girl born a dwarf in pre-WWII Germany. The book takes you through her life, from the hardness of other children to the terror of the Nazi regime. This story will warm your heart, and it will also break it. I think Tricia has my copy, but you can borrow it when she is through. ~~Weeze | |||||||||||||
