Tonight we traveled to city field to take on city rival Thomas Jefferson.  City championship on the line, all we had to do was win.  But to win we need to finish.  It has been the same story all year this year, we need to finish.  The comments apply to both JV and Varsity tonight, bottom line, we can't stroke a win if we don't finish.  We can't finish if we don't shoot.  We don't shoot, we don't finish, we don't win.  In the Varsity game we stepped up tonight in the second half and out shot TJ but nothing would go our way and we just could not put the ball into the net.  On the JV and Varsity side tonight we played our hearts out, we out played TJ and came away empty handed.  You can not play that well and not award yourself with a win, it just is not right.  We left it all on the field tonight and we are proud of everyone.  Varsity lost 2-0 and JV lost 1-0.  We finish up the regular season on Friday as we travel to Denison.  This will be a battle and it will take all we have to survive this one especially after beating them in the Norwalk tourney on Saturday.  Join us as we go on the road to Denison where JV will play first at 5pm.
