Royal Decree

In keeping with a practice first started by the English monarch Queen Elizabeth I to
commemorate the English victory over the zealous Spanish crown. Ih has been
decided that individuals who distinguish themselves on campaign may be awarded a
military honour

What it means.

If mentioned in despatches (MiD) for a 6 on a D6, a medal may be awarded from the
list below. Furthermore after the usual 3 months of 6SPs/month the character will
receive +2 (cf. +1 normally) for the rest of the characters life. Being awarded a
military honour entitles the character to the letters associated with that medal after his
name.

If you are awarded the same medal more than once, and that medal has no 'bars' or
you have already attained the 'Gold' award in that medal, then no medal is awarded
and the MiD counts only as a +1 after the 3 month period.

What does PEG or PC En-Guarde do?

All PEG does is look for MiD for 6 at month 3 after return from front. If MiD=6 then
subsequent MiD is +2 for life!
The Abbreviations are not used, they are provided for the players to glorify their
position etc in formal correspondence etc ie
