I got my tounge pierced for my 18th birthday at Utility in Halifax. (they're experts in tounge piercing). It really didn't hurt like at all. It actually felt good! I could feel the needle go up through the bottom and through the top, it was weird. I was a bleeder, because it wouldn't stop bleeding! I sort of got scared, but the guy said it was normal. You can see in the last pic some of the blood. That paper towl in that pic was one of the many that was filled with blood and saliva. Yeah, I know, ew. It didn't swell right then, it took a while. I was SO hard to eat normal food. I would get SO frustrated trying to eat even pudding.
I got my tattoo done when I was 17 in Quebec City at Tattoo Compris. I really liked getting it done because I didn't hurt and felt really good. I was like a hot cat scratch. It's addicting, I want more. It's a japanesse symbol meaning Talent and Creativity. Well, that's what the book at the tattoo shop said. But no! I asked a bunch of japanesse people and they all told me it means Age. Or I can also mean Geniuss. So I have a tattoo on me that means not what I want it to!!! Not good! So before you get a chinesse/japanesse symbol tattooed on you, make sure it's really what you want it to be. So that whenever a japanesse person sees your tattoo they see "Talent and Creativity", not "Age"!!!

For my 20th Birthday, my friend Donna got my Outter Labia pierced for me at Scotia Tattooing. I wasn't really nervous going into it, for I've always wanted this done. But as you can see in the first picture, I was a bit scared for what was about to happen. I had read that the outer labia was very painful, but I think the pain factor was the same as when I got my tounge pierced. It really wasn't all that bad. The second picture is when the needle was going through. I took a deep breath as soon as I felt the sharp needle against my skin. In the pic, it looks like I was screaming or something, but I was quite silent, and just had my hand over my face. Natural reaction I guess. It healed very quickly and I had no problems with it at all considering I didn't really follow proper aftercare instructions. I can't even tell it's there. Below is a diagram of how pale I got throughout this experience. It is quite obvious and funny.
