This is my first marathon, but the mileage training was not enough,

with the longest run as a half-marathon a month before, and 15km 2 weeks before

Start
I started at the front, so I can run freely once it started.

Can you see me? Taken before entering Cheung Tsing Tunnel at 1hr.

Approaching TP4 on Ting Kau Bridge at 2hr 10min.

Race pace

It took 2:02 to reach the midway of the marathon,
but the muscles were so tight that I coundn't keep the pace since then.

When I reached 30km, it nearly cramp in my right calf.
I didn't think that I need to stop for some pain relieving rub.

After one or two km, I finally walked, and stoped a few times for stretching (I've never thought that).

Walking through the Western Harbour Crossing, I tried to run,
because I am good at running up. With the gained speed, I keep it to the finish.

I finished in 4:42'07.
410th in Men's Open / 550 finishers in 5 hr / 1075 entries
.
1015th overall in Marathon / 1399 finishers in 5 hr / 2306 entries.
