1. Promote the responsible ownership and care of the Louisiana Catahoula
Leopard Dog (LCLD).
2. Will not give, sell, lease or otherwise dispose of a dog or any of its
offspring to a pet store, dealer, broker or puppy mill.
3. Will Abide by the Constitution and By-Laws of the LCLDOA and the UKC rules
and regulations..
4. Encourage the testing of dogs, especially breeding stock, for Hip Dyspliasia,
unilateral and bilateral deafness, and other genetic health problems.
5. If a breeder, abide by the
UKC Breeder's Code of Ethics.
6. If a breeder, encourage the spay/neuter of non-breeding LCLD(s).
