Remaining Artifacts of LCHS
This special feature presents a photographic gallery of the remaining artifacts from the former LCHS campus on Roosevelt Street, Iligan City. Photos of these priceless items were taken by Charles O. Sy, assisted by Roger Suminguit, on Aug. 9, 2002, in their effort to help preserve the remaining relics of LCHS before they vanish forever with the passage of time or the lack of proper care.

Chu San Room
The ancient billboard with carving of "Chu San Room" that used to
adorn the Kindergarten building since its inauguration in 1952 at the former LCHS
Roosevelt campus. Chu San is the location of the school in Fujian, China from
where most of the founders of LCHS originated.  This piece of artifact was recently
traced and recovered from under the seat of a bench at the LCHS Pala-o campus.

Home Economics
The 1953 billboard that adorned the Home Economics
building of the old LCHS Roosevelt campus.

Thiam Hoc Hall
Edgar Asok and Roger Suminguit retrieve a historical billboard marked
"Thiam Hoc Hall" that adorned the auditorium of the former LCHS
at Roosevelt St. "Thiam Hoc" was the Chinese name of the late
Mariano Bagatan, who was a major benefactor in the construction of
the auditorium in 1952.
