CLASS MOTTO: "We Build the ladder by which we
rise"
Lincoln Community High School - 1953
Lincoln Community High School is located in central
Illinois in the city of Lincoln. Lincoln's namesake
Abraham Lincoln, christened the city with a watermelon in
1853. Lincoln is the only city to be named for Abraham
Lincoln before he became President. The class of 1953 is
proud to be the Centennial Class of Lincoln. We met this year to celebrate our 50th Anniversary and
Lincoln's Sesquicentennial.
This site is being developed to help the class of 1953
renew friendships with their class members. It is also
hoped that it will help other LCHS alumni classes
communicate their reunions. Announcements of other class
reunions are welcome. In addition, I could add a page for
your reunion pictures. Pictures of the 50th Reunion of the
Class of ‘52 are already on a separate web
page.
Classmates, as well as LCHS alumni, comments and
suggestions are welcome to further improve and develop this
web site.
This site is dedicated to our classmates who are no longer
with us.
