What is the West Virginia Sasquatch Society?
The West Virginia Sasquatch society is a not for profit field research organization who's primary goal is to promote awareness of sasquatch existence by obtaining credible evidence through eyewitness accounts, field research, and scientific explanation.  We all need to take great responsibility with the task we are given, to ensure the safety of our research, as well as this wonderful species.
How was the West Virginia Sasquatch Society Formed?
The W.V.S.S. was formed in 1996 by two West Virginia residents in an effort to organize all of the evidence of existence and track all sightings within the state.  It also serves as an information hub between researches all over the state, where they can share data over a common medium.  The founders of the W.V.S.S., Chris S. from Wayne county and Dustin Y. from Lincoln county, have held interest in the Sasquatch phenomenon since they were kids, due to the reports of activity in their immediate areas.  They are trying to make the task of collecting credible evidence a little easier for West Virginians, so that West Virginians can be the ones to put "Them" on the map.
