Book Reports

Each PowerPoint Presentation will contain the following:
1. Slide 1: A title page with links to each chapter.
2. Slide 2: Chapter 1: Characters. You will list the major characters of the book. Then, you will describe each character. Include, how they act, how they look, what their roles are in the book, how other characters react to them.
3. Slide 3: Chapter 2: Setting. Write a description of where and when the story takes place. Include the major places if there is more than one.
4. Slide 4: Chapter 3: Plot. Write a short summary of what happens in the story.
5. Slide 5 : Chapter 4: Internal Conflict. Identify and describe one internal conflict in the story. Use specific examples form the book.
6. Slide 6: Chapter 4: External Conflict. Identify and describe one external conflict in the story. Use specific examples form the book.
7. Slide 6: Chapter 5: Review. Write a review of the book. Did you like it? Would you recommend it to other students? Why or why not. Again, use specific examples from the book.

Each slide should contain at least one image. To find images to use, go to google.com and click on IMAGES. Do a search ont eh topic you want. For example, for Madame Zeroni, you might look for cartoons of a gypsy woman. For Igor, a farmer.

As with the paper book report, you will be graded on content, if you have all the chapters, how detailed your chapters are, neatness, and spelling and grammar. Be sure to revise and edit before you make your final book (you may want to type your text in word where you can run spell check and then cut and paste it into the presentation).
