Byakhee is an Investigator generator/sheet editor for Call of Cthulhu
which prints out investigator sheets which are fairly similar to those
in the v5 Call of Cthulhu and the Delta Green rulebook.

This program is unsupported freeware. You use it at your own risk.

Additional fonts:
The font used in the version 5.0 rulebook for the investigator
sheet is "Benguiat" and comes with CorelDraw. Unfortunately,
this font is not free so I can't distribute it.

The Delta Green title font is not known, but "Placard Condensed"
is fairly close, but this again is not free.
Ray Larabie's Droid font is fairly close, appart from a few
letters this font is free and is available from the Byakhee
	home page.

Release Notes:
It is now possible to edit SAN, magic and hit points, as well as
the Cthulhu Mythos skill. However, if one of the core stats (such
as POW) are changed, the SAN etc. do not update. This is intentional
and by design. To update the SAN, right click on it and select "reset"

Although Delta Green support has been included, the supplied DeltaGreen.rul
file only contains Delta Green skills - the occupations and firearms
are still from Call of Cthulhu version 5.0. I have not had enough spare
time to type in all of the DG weapons!

On the Delta Green sheet view, the "birthplace" value is displayed in the
"nationality" position. This is by design.

Because of the Delta Green and SAN editing support, the investigator
file format had to be changed slightly. In order to view a new
investigator on and old version of Byakhee, you must change the save
version back to 1.0, via Tools->Options->Save. Once this is done,
the Delta Green information will not be saved, nor will current
SAN, magic or hit points. [The new version can still read old sheets]

Not all skills will fit on the minature version of the investigator sheet,
and skills such as 'art' and 'own language' do not appear if they have
not been specialised [art: painting, for example]

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Known bugs:

Some printers do not print the rotated text correctly. An option
to invert the rotated text or turn it off has been included, but
the inverted text is still misaligned on my dot matrix. I recommend
turning the rotated text off if it does not print correctly in the
	"normal" setting.
