Working on geometry.
I have asked students to collect all the end of unit tests ( from unit 1 to unit 8 & 9) and to bring them into class to be placed in a file folder. This includes memory aids. This will help us with the end of year review. These old tests should have been placed in the duo-tangs where all the practice sheets are kept for safe keeping until June.

Comments

Make sure your child takes a dictionary to school with them every day.

COMPOSITION/DRAFTS:

. Regarding marks on essays:: The mark shown on the drafts of an essay will change with each revision of the draft. Each revision will give the child a new, and hopefully, better mark on 25. The mark (out of 25) on the final revision will be the mark that the child will keep. This mark, and only this mark, will be reflected in the report card. So don't be alarmed by these first marks on their first attempts.
