Field Border Reseeding
Definition:   Establishing a border or strip of perennial vegetation at or around the edge of a field by planting herbaceous vegetation.

Purpose:    To control erosion, to reduce competition from adjacent woodland, if present, and to increase production of wildlife by providing food and/or cover.

Conditions Where Practice Applies:
A one-time reseeding of a failed grass stand when the failure is due to conditions beyond the control of the landowner on previously state cost-shared seeding.
