Concert at the Arcade
July 4th, 2000
Thousands upon thousands of people come out to enjoy the concert and fireworks.
This is a family day at the Civic Center along the lake front.
Families bring picnic suppers and listen to various styles of music.
The lake is filled with boaters ready for the fireworks on the lake.
There's lots of food - pizza, shrimp or chicken on a stick, snow cones....
The Community Bands takes center stage at 8pm.
At the end of the band's concert the fireworks over the lake begin.
Now comes what everyone has waited for!
The booms can be heard rattling off the lakefront buildings.
Little kids and adults alike are saying "ooooh" and "aaaaah"!
What a great way to end the Fourth of July! See you here next year.
