Hi!  Thanks for visiting my website.  There already is a bit about me up at the top of the page, but here's some more.  This is the story of how I came to live with my mommy.  It was a warm day in September of '99.  I sat on the edge of the sidewalk watching the cars drive by.  Nobody noticed a little scraggly 3 pound dog.  I saw a blue mini-van drive onto the street..  I watched it go by, not expecting it to stop, but it did.  A blonde girl got out of the car, and ran my way.  I wagged my little curly tail at her as she picked me up and carried me into the car.  As she sat in her seat, I curled into a little ball and fell asleep.  I later found out her name was Lindsay.  When we got to her house, the first thing she did was stick me into a tub of warm water. I didn't protest.  The water felt nice on my dirty body.  That was the last time I ever sat still for one of those!  Once I was clean, Lindsay tried to brush my long hair.  Boy, did that hurt!  She had such a hard time getting out the mats, that she just shaved all my hair off.  I was then fed and put to bed.  I had a long day, she said.  Mommy spent all day trying to find who I belonged to.  She took me back to that awful place she found me and posted picture, she took me down to the shelter and filled out forms, and she took me to all the doctors in the area to see if they knew me.  She tried for a long time.  Finally she decided that I need to find a new home.  I already had a home!  I didn't want to leave.  So I decided to put on a little act.  I did everything I could to be cute.  I did little dances for her, played nicely with the other dog, and minded all the rules.  She couldn't resist my charm and so Lindsay became my mommy.  I could drop the act now.  Sometimes, when I am getting into mischief, she looks at me and I can tell she wonders why she ever kept me.
