Glynis toured in 1997 for different towns of Great Britain with Dennis Waterman in the world premiere of a new thriller by Richard Stockwell called Killing Time.

Plot: He has a deadly secret and she has two hours to save her own life - together they are killing time and one off them will end up murdered.

When two strangers meet by chance, a chain of deceptions is set in motion. The two engage in a dangerous game of cat and mouse and quickly become trapped in a situation where the only possible outcome is murder. But who will be the murderer and who will be the victim....?

Packed full of surprises, with a truly unexpected edge-of-your-seat climax, Richard Stockwell's gripping contemporary thriller is not to be missed.

Glynis was acting in the theatre play called "Make me a Match", a comedy by Lawrence Roman,  with Jon Cartwright, James Jordan & Jan Waters (among others).

Plot: Stephanie Mills is a rich, demanding corporate executive used to having her way. Unmarried, hearing the tick of the biological clock, she would like to have a husband. Through a friend, and under the urging of her irrepressible mother, she reluctantly hires Robin McFee, a matchmaker who happens to be male, brash and used to having his way! Sex, love and laughter entwine as Robin supplies Stephanie with 'suitable prospects' each leading to hilarious if disastrous results.

Glynis played the lead role of Lady Macbeth in Stafford's Festival Shakespeare production of "Macbeth". The play opened at Stafford Castle on June 26th with performances until July 12th, 2003.

"The Graduate"

Glynis Barber played the part of Mrs. Robinson in the first UK tour of the theatre play "The Graduate" following in the footsteps of Kathleen Turner, Jerry Hall, Amanda Donohoe, Anne Archer and Linda Gray who played this role in the West End. 

As the UK Tour began, a separate  US tour was launched in San Francisco, starring Jerry Hall, followed by Linda Gray and later by Lorraine Bracco. 

The stage play is written by Terry Johnson, adapted from the original novel by Charles Webb and the motion picture directed by Mike Nichols in 1967.

Director: Tamara Harvey. Design Production: Rob Howell. Co-production: John Reid, Sacha Brooks with the Arts Theatre Cambridge.

Plot: It's the story of a young man who has an affair with an older woman and then falls in love with her daughter.

The play opened at Cambridge Arts Theatre on September 1, 2003 (Previews from August 27) before continuing for three months to further 15 venues. The Tour finished on December 13, 2003.
