The Toronto Olympic Club (TOC) was formed in 1954
and has held a prominent position in Canadian track and field since. The
Club has produced or been host to many Canadian champions, record holders,
and Olympians. TOC has spent a great deal of time and effort building
great jumior programs, from which we hope to produce the crop of Canadian
champions and Olympians. The club realizes the importance of the younger
club athletes and takes a great interest in their academic careers as
well. Our head coach is Paul Paul Poce, many times nominated to head national
and Olympic teams. Mr. Poce is ably assisted by a team of coaches who
specialise at the high school level. This group organisation allows us
to keep track of all athletes and guage their respective levels of development.
Our best spokesperson is our record of performance, which is partially
represented by the list of acomplishments our members have accrued. To
see a small share of this see our list of prominent club athletes.
