How is the club administered
The
club is maintained by an executive committee elected every year by club
members. Elections are run during the annual general meeting in the month
of december. The committee appoints additional directors and committee
as necessary. The meeting are held every first thursday of the month.

races am I covered every year?
Which are
the benefits for being a club member?
The
most important reason is that membership help the club to stand financially;
second, it builds a sense of community; third, it covers expenses that
would be expensive if not a member. And fourth, club were created to recruit
members.
What are
the fees to become affiliated?
There
is an annual fee for membership which must be paid by april of every year.
The membership covers a number of services provided by the club including
orientation sessions, financial coverage for provincial, national and
international competitions.
Could I keep
my membership even if moving abroad

Where, When
and How
TOC offers a number
of activities intended to meet needs to all age groups, gender and fitness
level. The main training sites are located at the Swansea Community Center
in High Park, York University Track&Field center at Steeles-Keele
and The Centennial Park in Etobicoke.
As a distance club,
TOC has three seasons, cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.
All three are independent of each other, with separate provincial age-class
championships, but they are interconnected in terms of overall athelete
development.

New members are assigned
to a coach and training group, based on their ability, potential, interest
and training needs.
High school athletes will make their training arrangements with their
coaches, based on their school hours. Coaches will give regular reports
to the club and are encouraged to bring their athletes to the regular
Saturday workouts.
