One of the main concerns at Toronto Olympic is the progression of the athlete to perform at the highest level. Unfortunatelly, a lack of information from the part of the runner himself make him prone to injury. The most common problems reside in the dietary aspect. As important as drinking water is to maintain carbohydrates and iron reserves full. Iron depletion may rebound on other areas like the tearing of muscle, yielding scar tissue once it heals and eventually prevent proper elasticity.
A number of links to related articles can be found on this page. It is up to the runner to grasp the information and put them into the practice.
