I Was Thinking About You Today

I was thinking about you today
And all these good things came to mind,
You're such a warm and caring person
Not to mention considerate and kind.

All the times I have wanted to tell you
Just how much you mean to me,
Words I should have said but held back on
For the time wasn't right you see.

I don't know why I think like that
For time should never begin to hold,
And words of gratitude and appreciation
Should not be suppressed but often told.

I was thinking about you today
And how fortunate I must be,
To have the privilege of knowing you
Which means so much to me.

Just to know you're there for me
Is a commodity we both share,
And just knowing your love for me
Has forever and always been there.

How else may I say, "I love you"
What more is there left to say,
You'll never be forgotten in my world
As I was thinking about you today.
