He Holds The Future

I am tired and oh so weary
And I feel all this pain
That keeps coming back again and again.
As I sit here looking back on my life.
I see that my life on earth had been troubled.
But only God knows the real pain that is so deep inside.
With God's Help I know that I must go on.

Today I am gonna walk beside Jesus
Because He knows what is ahead
Even though there are things about tomorrow,
That I do not understand.
I can face tomorrow because I know
Who holds the future and who holds my hand.

So till the Lord calls me home
When my life on earth is done
I will walk beside Jesus,
Because He holds my hand.

When the Lord calls me home I know
There will be no more sadness
No more sorrow, and all the troubles will be gone.
There will be no more fears
Because He Holds The Future.

So even though I am weary and in pain now
I will look forward to that special day
When He decides to take me home.
But until that special day arrives
I will live my life the best way that I can.
For I know He is holding my hand

With his love and comfort--
I am thankful for this day!
For today maybe all I have to share with you!
