| LYNDON BAINES JOHNSON (LBJ) ELEMENTARY SCHOOL was established in 1974 and is located on Chalan San Antonio Road, Tamuning. At the heart of a growing tourism and business community, this kindergarten and first grade school serves students in the areas of Tamuning and Tumon. It is one of the twenty-five elementary schools in the Guam Public School System serving 433 students comprised of a diverse ethnic student population, including Filipino (37%), Chamorro (27%), Pacific Islander (16%), mainland Asian (12%), and other (8%). A total of 26% of the students receive free or reduced price meals, and 55% of the students are served by the Language Other Than English (LOTE)/ESL Program. |
